The Informa Group, owner of the Monaco Yacht Show, publicly stated that this 2021 edition will take place, precisely between 22-25 September. As this pandemic situation is still evolving the show will surely be adapted with additional entrances and areas, an improved registration process, new event partners, and a set of precise sanitary requirements.

The innovative design and organization of this upcoming Monaco Yacht Show has the aim promote the superyacht lifestyle to a new set of wealthy clients. Therefore, mayor emphaisis will be give to the B2C network, rather than to the B2B.

This year the visitors will be divided into three different categories. The “Discover” badge will be reserved for yacht clients, the “Advise” badge will be give to the clients’ advisors and consultants, and the “Connect” badge will be for the trade visitors.

This new badge system has been thought to better control the flow of visitors and facilitate the access of private visitors on board their preferred superyachts. On September 22nd, the dockside are will be open to the “Discover” and “Advise” badges to allow these categories to meet with shipyards, brokers, designers. From September 23rd the dockside area will be open to all participants.

The Monaco Yacht Show will also offer a VIP program known as the “Sapphire Experience“. This program consists of a series of activities taking place inside the show to offer unique experiences to Superyacht owners, charterers, and future clients. In this way the VIP visitors will discover new sections dedicated to innovative projects and trends in sailing, design and exploration.

To facilitate the flow of the guests inside the show, two new first-class VIP entrances will be located near the Upper Deck Lounge (exhibition space for the show’s luxury partners) and close to the Yacht Club de Monaco.

By placing the superyacht client at its very heart, this new version of the MYS aims to offer the real meaning of “experience” and to attract new audiences from other high-end spheres beyond yachting, thus building a dedicated and customised luxury marketing strategy.

MYS’s main priority is, of course, to protect and to safeguard the health of all participants. For this reason, all necessary health measures and regulations issued by Monaco’s government will be implemented.
